Guobiao Hu: Biography

Dr. Guobiao Hu received the Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Lihua Tang from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Auckland, New Zealand. Since March 2020, he has been with the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, as a Research Fellow. His current research interests include: acoustic and elastic metamaterials, vibration energy harvesting, flow-induced vibration energy harvesting, nonlinear dynamics of electromechanical coupling systems, etc. Dr. Hu has published more than 60 peer-reviewed technical papers in international journals and conferences. He serves as Guest Editors for ASCE Journal of Environmental Enginnering and Symmetry-Basel. He is also a member of the Program Committee of the 3rd EAI International Conference on Wearables in Healthcare (2021), the Technical Program Committee of the International Conference on New Energy, Energy Storage, and Power Engineering (2022).
